If you are running a generator and want TV and Phone.. you need to locate the battery backup and plug that in..  Then, Power the Tv and Box.. even the router and your good to go.

Been explaining this to my neighbors all day..

You mean that thing that keeps beeping every few minutes in the laundry room cause it needs a new battery. Lol. I'll give that a shot in the morning. Thanks for posting this. My cell has been failing all day.

You sir, are a god TT^  after about 30 seconds, I decided to toss Crap around and climb on top of the freezer to get to it. But it worked. The battery wasn't even plugged in so I only go to test it for a minute.

If you still have a antenna on you house and have the digital tv, hook it up it works. I hooked my camper to the house and back feeding the tv antenna to my cable and it works.

Try to reconfig the tv. Go to the menu and do a channel scan. My rv ant is not hi def. I had to do the same to my tv.

Just to make sure...

The battery in the backup box.. it just so you can have phone for up to 8 hours if you lose electric..  there is a white wire coming from it with a flat plug on the end.. that needs to be powered..

The smaller box is what I hooked up the other night and had it working. That's the only plug I see there.

Exactly........guess we'll see when the battery gets here.  Hopefully they'll cover it under storm damaged equip but that's not likely. Lol
