Weather conditions will be pleasant this weekend with mostly sunny skies, dry conditions and seasonal temperatures with highs in the low to mid 50's and lows in the upper 30's and 40's overnight.  Increased pressure gradients and a gusty northeasterly flow will continue throughout the weekend, even peaking on Saturday into Sunday.  Small craft advisories are likely with the possibility of gale force gusts over ocean waters and seas 4-6 feet.  Water conditions are rated good for most inshore locations for the weekend, noting winds to 20 knots and seas 4-5 feet, while midshore to offshore are rated good for Saturday and cautious for Sunday with winds to 25 knots and seas 5-6 feet.  Surf conditions will be high and rough with waves 4-5 feet subsiding 2-3 feet during period of calmer winds.  These conditions will likely persist through midweek, next week.  If you are planning to go out make sure you check specific locations before heading out for the day.

Talk of a possible nor'easter have subsided with the models taking any type of storm well out to sea.

High pressure will continue to dominate most of the weekend before shifting northeast sometime Sunday.  This will open up the region for a trough with low pressure tracking northeastward along it.  This low pressure should stay well off the coast (this low pressure was the possible nor'easter).
