BI STRIPER FISHING
« on: November 20, 2012, 01:59:26 PM »
Fished out of BI on Saturday morning, 11-17. Late morning the birds were thick just south of the inlet. Bass had the bait pushed up onto the shoals that are just beyond the south Jetty. Stretch 25s were killing them, boated 15-20 in 1.5 hours, many shorts but also keepers, struggled with ocean conditions in a 24' boat. I only keep what I will eat fresh(1). Very rough seas but awesome fishing...the bass are here!

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.

What is so great about Barneget I. Why don't they like Shark river or Manasquan Inlet. Such a long ride for the northern fisherman.
A good day of fishing is better than a bad day of fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. That means work sucks!

Hey don't complain....you have easy access to the shrewsbury rocks and all the gnarly stuff off long branch.
