Dollar and a Dream 9/14
« on: September 14, 2007, 09:23:41 PM »
Hey all,

I have finally been able to take the Dollar out and today was a banner day! Had my father, Brother, Sister-in-law (both up from Florida for my son's 3rd B-day) and myself out for some bottom fishing. We broke the Shark River Inlet abound 7:30 and turn her north and rewarded with a nice sight, BLUES ON TOP. Threw the Iron on them for 20 minutes of so and put 5 nice fish in the box and con't on with the original game plan. Started off the Red Church and never left. Fished various Depth and finally found the Sea Bass in some deeper water 40-60 feet or so. Managed to put appox. 80 fish in the boat only keep 15 or so keepers, inc. 2 fish around 3.5 pounds. It was a nice day and let's hope this con't into the winter. The bigger fish wanted the squid on hi-lo rigs and seemed to be partial to red beads?? Who knows!
Anyway, it was a blast having the family out and hope to do it again soon. Good luck and tight lines!
Brian

Nice catch D&D.  I hope to be out tomorrow.  Thanks for the info on the Red Church area.  Always good there or close to it.
