Inshore fishing around Stuart, Florida has been good this week for a variety of species. Night fishing (catch and release until the end of Jan.) around the bridges for snook has been pretty steady with a lot of big fish being caught. Trout fishing in the Indian river has also been good a lot of throwbacks but good action. Right now the sheepshead (which are great eating) fishing has been good in and around the channels near the flats with a few black drum mixed in along with a lot of ladyfish and jacks for some good rod bending action. Pompano along with spanish mackerel have been along the beach but the pompano have been kinda scarce in the river this week.
