A Little Upgrading
« on: May 25, 2013, 08:51:28 PM »
Not a fishing weekend, so perfect day to get some upgrading done and over with.

picked up a set of Lee outrigger poles over the winter for a good price, and a set of new bases the other week for a super steal. Well, it was time to get them installed.

Will have to see how they work being so close to the rod holders, and if there will be any tangles in the works. An option could be to set the rods in the rear corner holders and run them to the riggers, and run two rods out of my rod holders on both sides of the livewell to the corners off clips for flat lines,, for which I can't forsee any problems running them that way.

Also broke down and got two new rod holders, next payday I'll pick up two more for the rear corners. Found that SeaSwirl figured only a dab of sealant was required on the screws for the port rod holder, and none at all on the starboard side nosmly. I can tell ya, they are well sealed up now with some 3m4000 as I wanted to be able to pull them in the future if need be.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
