Old Barney Toggin
« on: January 06, 2013, 08:22:48 PM »
Just can't get enough of them Buck Toothed, Crab Pounding, Head shakin critters! Headed out again today with some friends who had a charter cancelled yesterday. Fished on a PB out of Barnaget. Was a heck of a sloppy ride down with some light snow accumallations on  Parkway but we made it! Light crowd on the boat about 15 guys made it comfortable to fish. Met a couple NJSWF fellas who had the bow and cooler full of White Leggers had a feeling these guys have done this before, my suspicions were correct some good fisherman. Beautiful day on the water with a moderate breeze out of the SW. Capt had some tricky conditions to anchor in but got the job done! It was a struggle today the boat picked here and there the Boys on the bow put it to em pretty good with the whites but the Greenies just were not producing. Ended the day with 3 keeps to 8+ lbs and lost the pool to a 10+ some good looking fish. Great day on the water none the less!!!!  Let's hope this weather holds.  slt

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
