Here is the tour I was part of right before it was reopened to the public this week.  New Jersey Beach Buggie Association was asked to be taxi drivers to the press so they could allow folks that love the park a glimpse of what it looks like and what has to be done as a continuing effort to clean it up so we all can enjoy the entire park.

Thank you for posting!   My father once told me when I was very young to never underestimate the power of water and electricity.  I am in my forties and know understand what he meant by the water.

That's so true Mike.   The section you see of the jetty that is the most torn apart where Ray was standing still during high tide runs into the inlet.

I can't wait to see what the Army Corps Of Engineers is going to do to get the jetty back to its functional state again.
