Another typical Winter week with constantly changing weather.  This week should be more dry than wet.  Monday will start out dry with chances of rain and/or snow on Tuesday into Wednesday.  Wednesday and Thursday will be dry again with possibility of more rain and/or snow on Friday.  Temperatures will fluctuate all week, with highs up into the 50's on Tuesday.  However, most of the week will see 30's, maybe some low 40's with lows down into the teens and 20's at night. Water conditions are not forecast to get much better until Thursday at the earliest.  Gale Warnings will be cancelled sometime on Monday, however Small Craft Advisories are highly likely through Thursday Night.  Most water conditions will be cautious to hazardous all week with winds to 35 knots and seas to 7 feet in some locations.  Surf conditions will be normal to moderate with some rough surf from gusty winds.  However, most winds will be predominantly out of the west, keeping wave heights down.  Wave heights will range from 0-2, up to 3-5 during the week.  Friday Afternoon will see a return of easterly winds for the weekend.

As the strong low pressure system pulls off to the northeast, high pressure will build in behind it on Monday and Monday Night.  Another low pressure system will move across eastern Canada and bring a cold front though the region on Tuesday Night.  A large high pressure system will then move from central Canada slowly into the region for Wednesday and Thursday.  Friday will then be influenced by another low pressure system emerging from the Rockies, which will form another low pressure system along a cold frontal boundary and pass south of our area on Friday Night into Saturday.
