Atlantis Nassau vacation ???

The wife wants to do a summer vacation to Atlantis in Nassau last week of June. Anyone been there? Any advise, pros and cons?

I haven't but I know a few who have. Everyone has loved it for families, not so much for romance. Pricey too

EXPENSIVE!

I have only visited when I've cruised there. I am not sure if they have special prices for guests vs visitors but, it was very, very pricey. It is a very cool resort though.

The aquarium is pretty awesome. The straw market down the road suck. But the conch fritters that you get under the bridge are delicious and to me if you've seen 1 caribbean you've seen them all.

I was there wayyy back before that hotel was built...Paradise Island...I'd rate it a 5 out of 10

If it were me Joe.....look at Bermuda...pricey but far worth the money....beautiful island...great food..no beggers....great public bus sytem to take you anywhere on the island you wish...Good fishing...and no loud young kids running around...it's more geared to people our age...

Been there twice...loved it.

Aquariums are unreal. You'll get a feeding schedule delivered to your room daily and times are staggered so you'll see everything.

Water park and slides are great. Casino is nothing special.

Get the meal plan, its a must...def worth it. 

Hit up Murrays deli for a Rueben and a Kalik...you wont be disappointed.

Only went into town one afternoon each time. Not worth the trip IMO, BUT the liquor stores are great.  1.75L of Bacardi for 8 bux (last time I was there 2009)  and they will package 4 bottles in a case for ya to take on the plane home.
