Mend-it Soft Plastic Repair
« on: May 14, 2010, 11:43:09 PM »
We recently received a new product in the store the other day that I just had to try.  The product is called "Mend-it".  It is designed to repair torn and half eaten soft plastic baits.

Now, I've used a few different glues to fix my ripped up baits including Crazy Glue, Fishin' Glue and Pro's Soft Bait Glue.  They worked OK, but not great.  With the first two leaving a crunchy spot where the bait was repaired.

How is Mend-it different from the others?  First of all Mend-it is not a glue.  What it is I don't really know. ;D  But, what I do know is that this stuff is amazing!

You simply put a few drops on the area that needs to be rehabilitated and hold it together for about 30 seconds.  Mend-it actually fuses the plastic back together perfectly!  No weak spot.  No crunchiness.  Best of all it doesn't stick to your hands or anything else!

Since I bought it I have already repaired some Storm Shads, Fin-S, and RONZ baits.  If you're tired of constantly just throwing away baits after run ins with bluefish and the like, I would highly recommend you try this product. t^

Sweet, Thanks  t^
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

That's really cool...thanks for the info BT!

This will save tons of baits...all those senkos and worms I throw away because the hook ripped through them.

Old thread, but I took these pics last year to demonstrate this stuff for someone.  So, since there's some renewed interest in it, I figured I'd post them up. t^
