This week will start to feel like Spring and then remind us that it is still Winter.  Most of the week will be dry and more sun than clouds.  Only chance of rain will come Monday Night into Tuesday.  This should be widespread, heavy rain event with up to 1+ inches locally with POP chances increasing into Tuesday Morning.  High temperatures will reach the upper 50's and 60's on Monday and Tuesday.  These highs will taper off by Wednesday dropping back into the low 50's and 40's.  Low temperatures for the beginning of the week will only drop into the 40's but by the end of the week they will still drop into the 30's and even 20's.  Coastal Flood Advisories are still in effect through Monday for areas along the Delaware River at high tide.  Water conditions will vary by location and day this week.  The Outlook does not show any change or improve them much this week.  Small Craft Advisories are currently in effect and will remain so through Tuesday for high seas up to 5 feet.  Tuesday will then bring in winds 25-30 knots causing SCA's to be continued or issued again through Friday.  Some areas may see a break on Monday or Wednesday, but those chances are looking low right now.  Surf conditions will still be cautious with high rough, surf through Wednesday with waves 5-6 feet.  Wednesday should see surf conditions returning to the 1-2 foot range with less rough conditions for the rest of the week. Tides across the state are still running 1-2 feet higher than normal and will continue through midweek.  Beach erosion is a big issue as well, with many areas eroded lower than after Sandy.  Be careful on the beachfront if you are venturing out.

High pressure will continue influencing the area on Monday as it drifts to the east.  A cold front approaching from the west is expected to pass through the area on Tuesday while a secondary cold front from the northwest moves in for Wednesday.  High pressure will follow for Wednesday Night through Friday with yet another cold front from the northwest to arrive Friday Night.
