Good evening of fishing
« on: April 24, 2013, 09:48:56 PM »
We haven't been doing well in the salt on our last few attempts.  ::)  That combined with the stiff winds today, we decided to hit the freshwater.
In just over an hour of fishing we had a dozen pickerel, a hand full of sunnies and one crappie.  And we lost several other pickerel.
It was Becky's first successful freshwater outting and probably my most successful.
Most of the fish hit on nightcrawlers.  The crappie and a few pickerel hit a trout spinner.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!
