Cache In Trash Out Earth Day Event
Saturday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m.
Celebrate the 11th Annual Cache In Trash Out Weekend (
http://www.geocaching.com/cito/ ) by joining NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife staff as they hike the trails on the Pequest Wildlife Management Area in search of geocaches. Bring a lunch, work gloves, GPS enabled smartphone, binoculars, field guides, and your enthusiasm. This event will also include bird watching, an interpretive hike, and some trail cleanup.
Participants should meet in front of the Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center main education building. Dress for the weather. Staff will provide garbage bags and water. There will be a make-your-own trail snack station only for those who arrive between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m.
Rain will cancel the event. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY APRIL 17 - call 908-637-4125.
