The weekend will start off with chances of rain showers early on Saturday.  Any leftover rain will move out by the afternoon with chances of rain decreasing through the day.  High temperatures will reach low to mid 60's.  By Saturday Night, clouds will have cleared out completely leaving mostly clear skies.  Overnight lows will drop into the low 30's, hovering right around the freezing mark.  Some areas inland and north may even see a freeze/frost watch or warning posted.  Sunday will be sunny and dry with highs only into the mid 50's and lows into the mid 30's.  Again, possible frost/freeze watches and warnings for that night.  Water conditions will vary by location and time all weekend.  Possible Small Craft Advisories will continue through Saturday and then again on Sunday.  Even if SCA's are dropped, winds could still gust in excess of 20 knots causing increasing seas.  Water temperatures have increased by a few degrees bringing bay and river temperatures to the mid 50's and ocean waters in the upper 40's to lower 50's.  Surf conditions will be normal with 1-2 foot wave heights with some gustier winds over 20 knots possible.

A look ahead to next week will bring chances of rain through Wednesday or Thursday and temperatures will remain in the upper 50's to 60's.  Overnight lows will increase to mid 40's or higher, so no threats of frost or freezing right now.  Small Craft Advisories are likely on Monday and Tuesday with 20+ knot winds and seas to 6 feet.

A strong cold front will push through the area later Friday Night into Saturday early morning.  High pressure will then build across the northeast on Sunday, moving out by Monday.

Re: Possible Frost Tonight
« Reply #1 on: April 21, 2013, 06:07:08 PM »
With temperatures around the freezing mark tonight there is a chance for frost across most of the state.  NWS PHI has issued a Frost Advisory for several counties, however it does not mean that those counties not listed will not see frost.  There are different parameters by county and area for issuing certain advisories, so these other counties do not meet the advisory level, however they will still experience the same conditions (one more way to confuse people from the NWS).
