Sandy Hook Raritan Bay Striper Report 4/18
« on: April 18, 2013, 08:07:05 PM »
Had the Steve Gayle charter on board today and we left Highlands at 6:30 and headed back to where we left them. By the time we got set up, the wind was already coming from the east pretty good against the tide. Had a pick of fish right away but they were on the smaller side...kept at it and put a few in the box as the conditions deteriorated quickly. Decided to go troll in the snot and we came tight on a couple of nicer fish. Back to our clamming spot after awhile with no action. Had some more fish right away and it became a gentlemen pick after that. The boys limited out but we really had to work for it today...the fish were very finicky today and we missed a lot of short bites. Nice and nautical today!

Carl, I did not want to say any thing either about the teak. A different camera angle could have avoided the BB.   t^
