Cheap sonar unit
« on: April 26, 2013, 11:47:40 AM »
I'll most likely be buying a 16' Jon boat tomorrow to use in the sweet water.

I'd like to get a very minimal inexpensive fish finder for it. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Craigslist, I just picked up a Garmin 541s with transducer and everything for 200 bucks. If you are buying new the lowrance elite 5 is 379 a few places, you can get The regular sonar or downscan.

Thanks a lot Reckless!

Looks like the boat deal fell thru. The guy just emailed me that he sold it this afternoon.
