started my season off in South East FL
« on: April 24, 2013, 11:56:11 PM »
been in FL for 39 hours so I decided this morning it was time to hop on a boat.  Cleared the inlet around 810 and started fishing. slow morning coming on the full moon.  got some trigger fish on 1st drift.  2nd drift had about 20 dolphin and a few false albies.  3rd drift another school of dolphins swarmed the boat.  About 60 dolphin releases around the boat.  Watched another guy get spooled on a sailfish.  DOn't think he ever got any line back on once it bit.  No keepers though and didn't even have time for pictures.  Even I was helping out baiting hooks for people around me.  Hope to get 1 more good trip in before I head back to NJ where I hear I'm missing the blues invasion.  But this was a great change to the start of my season
