Thanks to Nick for the offer to join him in the Luna Sea 4 for an attempt at the striped ones. The crew was Nick, me, my brother George who was in for a weekend vist from NC and a friend of Nick. We left the dock and made the ride to MI. The wqgerts were surprising clear with the exception of a complete house in the middle of the Upper Barneget Bay. Hit the inlet to some great conditions. We turned south and found no life. Header further south and tried trolling various hardware with no takers. Marked bait and some fish here and there which we tried to jig up but no luck. Traveled all the way to BI and back to dock. No fish to show for it but it was a great day on the water with some laughs.

We did a loop.  Went out of MI, trolled the coast, jigged where we say life, came back through the Barny Inlet. 

Burned fuel with nothing to show for it, but it was a great time with a great crew.
