Had my son and his friend Sean onboard today for another day of fishing the bay. Shoved off at 6:15AM and in no time we were set up on some marks on the Knoll. It took about 30 mins to get the bite started but then it was a steady pick until the tide started to slack. We went on the troll when the bite died and picked up 3 more 16-18 lb fish in about 30 minutes. The south wind was starting to pick up and cool things down so we packed it in at 11:30 We lost count of the fish we caught and released but about 2 dozen bass with all but 3 being shorts. Sean won the pool with the largest of the day a nice 21# on clam. Two 30" fish were kept for the table.
