Sandy Hook Striper Reports 5/3 - 5/7....The Good,The Bad and the Ugly

Sorry to group the reports this weekend but it was a busy one with doubles again since Friday and I was under the weather Fri and needed the sleep Sat.
The good.....the bass fishing was very good again for all trips using the clams and on the troll. Clams produced bass to  20 lbs  and the troll to 23 lbs.
The Bad....the damn east wind all weekend especially  this morning.
The Ugly....on the ride home today we lost our port Gear. I   have a suspicion  its the Dampner Plate but I don't know if it can be done by the weekend if it turns out to be just that.
But we will get fixed as quick as possible and be back at it hard as usual!
