more GOOD news about the park...

STARTING THIS FRIDAY, MAY 17TH, ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK WILL BE OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK, AND... THE INLET WILL BE OPEN. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRIVE DOWN TO THE INLET STARTING THIS FRIDAY.

Here is an update already...

...May 17th Island Beach State Park will be open 24 hours.  A23 to the Jetty will be open to a fence line where NO trucks will be allowed to go beyond the fence. The Park did not say where the fence is located from the jetty.
