sea bassing 9/22 irish ayes
« on: September 22, 2007, 06:49:26 PM »
Left the dock at 8 this morning.  Had Lou, Andy, George and Bob G with me.  Headed straight to the red church.  Made a dozen or so drifts starting on the south side of the rock piles and drifting north.  Caught a ton of short seabass and porgies.  They were mixed in with 16 keeper seabass and 15 keeper porgies.  Also had several sea robins and some fluke to round out the day.  What a pity to throw back 19 inch fluke.

Nice catch Capt.Joe. Wish I could have been there but as you know, I was in N. E. Pa. playing with the fresh water fish.
