Sandy Hook Stripers 5/10.....Back in Action

With a few days off due to a repair....we were back in action today after a 4 day layoff. Headed out at 6:30 a.m. with Chris from Washington NJ and gang. Had the incoming tide till around 10 a.m. and even.tho we had good marks the bites were few and far between....boxed a couple on the slack then made a few shuffles on the outgoing. Took awhile but they finally started to chew and the boys boxed up their limit plus around mid tide. When.the current was slow, it was skate city and we also had 4 bluefish bite offs today as well.
Back at it Sunday and Monday!

God Bless you Carl .I couldn't get them chew at all .Two fish after allot work .They were picking the bunkers up ,but not really taking it . slt

Seems the incoming was turning em off today! Had the same situation on the second incoming. Had perfect conditions too, go figure.
