Sea Run Brown Trout
« on: September 16, 2008, 07:27:54 PM »
ah yes the infamous brown trout...
i think there was some posting of that nature regarding a bagged "brown trout" off SH back in the summer, but seriously....

is it myth or weakfish or something else entirely?
apparently NJ stocks them, then they migrate to brackish/salty rivers & out to sea

i am skeptical  5hrug
please advise....

I think it is certainly possible!  I know without looking at the state websites, the Manasquan River is stocked with them.  That is really not far from SH.  Hey, Dolphin 56 traveled all the way from the Indian River Lagoon, FL up here to NJ...anything is possible!
