5/18- It felt good to be out again catching some fluke. First drift we didn't move so we headed down the beach to catch the start of the incoming. We pick at keepers and shorts most of the morning. In the afternoon the bite turn off so we head back in the bay to the west and found a few nice fish. Biggest one went around 5lbs but guy was not in the pool. Pool fish was around 4.5lbs. My mates said we had between 40 to 45 keepers which is a good start to the season. We are sailing OPEN BOAT everyday this week for fluke 7:30am to 2:30pm. Afternoon fluke trips start tomorrow OPEN BOAT for those trips this week will be tomorrow at 4pm to 8:30pm Wed 5pm to 9pm and then next Sat and Sun again at 4pm. See you onboard. Thanks Capt.Mike.
