I was handling claims down in Moore for the May 1999 F5 that went thru. It was the most aweful thing id ever seen up to that time in my life, and i still rank it worse than Katrina (was there also)The closest thing to it was the Philadelphia MS tornados of 2011 (Also F5) Ill see if i can find some of the pics I took.......
I had handled many losses due to tornados t/o the Mid West, but never anything like i saw in OK in 1999. Ive been asked to go down for this storm, but honestly i think im gonna pass.
One think i can say, is that the people in that area are some of the nicest folks ive ever met, and my family still gets Christmas cards from one family that i met down there. (they were fine from this last storm) Trust me when i say that they are some of the hardiest stock of human being to walk this earth, and once the get to rebuilding, they will be just fine.
