Sandy Hook Striped Bass Report 5/24
« on: May 25, 2013, 04:58:55 PM »
Had Steve Leatch and company on board for some stripers. Ran to a new area and had little life so we picked up and ran to where we had decent fishing the last few trips. Got set up and had to get through the blues first but the bass started to bite..couple of dropped bass at the boat up top and a couple of shorts. Soon as we got a nice 34 incher to the boat the front came through and the wind instantly cranked 20-25. Stayed awhile and after some more blues we headed for the barn around noon.

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!
