Sea Bass Trip 06/05/13

Did a little birthday trip on Wed. with my daughter Laura.
Grabbed a couple spots on an open charter out of Pt. Pleasant and the Capt. sailed with just 4 fares.

We ended the day with 60 keepers, some ling and tossed back more Blackfish then I would love to see in Nov and Dec.

Laura had the hot hand today and put more than 1/3 of those keeps in the box.

Why do the gals always out fish us? thud

Got back to the dock at 6pm after a long 12 hour trip and was greeted by Kenny who treated us to dinner and some cold ones.

PS: That's Laura's first Tog but she said no way to fishing after 11/15

Great way to spend your birthday Paul-e.  clp I read the captains report on another site and he sure went the extra mile to make sure his fares went home with some fish.  Seems it was a slow day for a lot of boats looking for sea bass.  The readings were great, but the fish had lockjaw.

Are you really 70 like BigAl posted?  cfzd rofla

Do not let Kenny write off that dinner and drinks he bought you as a business expense on his tax return next year.   rofla hhppy

I Didn't get to fish but had a ton of laughs with Paule and his Daughter Laura...She's a trip...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree....She's a great kid t^
