Late Fathers Day fishing.

We went out today for a short morning fishing spree and some quality time together.  We hit the beach around 10ish.  First bait hit the water around 10:15 and first fish on the beach by 10:20.  Unfortunately it was a short like 26 or 27 inches.  Nice healthy fish though.  But that was it for the morning.  At least it was not a skunk day.

No, no pictures, I was trying to get the girls to snap one but they were too excited to even think that they both had cell phones that have the new fangled thing called a cameras in them.  Oh well...

Great day and I hope a great evening.  Lil and I are planning on going out tonight again.

I know Chris.  The fish was gill hooked down deep and all they were yelling is get him back in the water.  I was trying my best but I had to cut the hook and hope it will rust before injuring the fish too badly.

Oh well, pictures coming next time, especially if I am by myself.

Oh yeah, make sure you bring bug spray from now on everyone; the bugs were out in biting force.
