Got this e-mail today from the Social Security Administration.

Mandatory Health Care is around the corner. Good luck all.

I am not opposed to the law.
The problem is that this is coming real fast and nothing is really in place yet.

I just tried to shop the site for information to see what is available and got no where.

I carry Health Insurance and with sky rocketing premiums I wouldn't mind if there was a cheaper alternative provided.

Exactly my point!
The information of the address posted was to make those, who need to know, be aware of the timing of dates to be in compliance, and what the penalties paid to the IRS will be for not having insurance in 2014.
Not easy to digest at all. nosmly

Tax Law. Damn I have always been blessed with the gift of understanding them, but then again think about the knuckleheads that write them. ;D

But when it comes to health insurance, I have always delegated that to the wife.

I don't comprehend the claim forms, EOBs, and the difference between a copay and out of pocket. Hell. I pay premiums. Why don't they pay the full cost? And what the heck is co-insurance?
