7/7 Sandy Hook Fishing Report.
« on: July 08, 2013, 07:03:01 AM »
Plan was to run a little more south today and poke around. Ran south with Jose and crew and decided to do a short drift for fluke first. Reel McCoy Dan stopped by with Phil and Jake to say hello around 7 a.m.
As I started up the engines to run further south, I noticed my port engine temp kept rising to the bad zone, shut her down and took a look. Could be one of 4 possible things but best idea was to just leave her off and run on one. Gave the boys the option to do a half day fluke trip and they agreed so we ran back in on one, poking spots on the way. Wound up with 6 keepers between the TC and the GUG for the boys. Checkin out my pumps today because it was just too damn hot yesterday!

Hope it's an easy fix Capt. Carl
