Rod and others - been so busy I haven't posted a report here in ages but we've been out quite a bit the last few weeks.
In general, fluke fishing has been up and down - our best trip was 28 boxers last Tuesday and we had an 8# last Wednesday. We've had some real stinkers, and some OK trips - the stinkers have seen <10 keepers while we've had a few in the 12-20 keeper range.
Bottom fishing, however, has been excellent. Right now more ling than anything else, but we are still catching some seabass and the occasional codfish. Triggerfish and porgies are showing, and we've also had some "LUCKY" tog that were released prior to the bag limit opening back up today.
We have plenty of room in August for our FTYP trips, and we will be running some Bluefin trips as well as more bottom fishing-only trips.
