Scott G and I headed out late around 9:30am to run the boat and give the new raw water pump a test. We decided to drag some bait at the Keansberg hole but no fish were around. The incoming tide and west wind gave us a fast drift with building seas and a light drizzle too. I did not want to stay out long so we made a move and drifted the Reach channel edge from the 9 all the way up to the 19 and produced 1 croaker. We hit 1 more spot towards Keyport and called it a day around 1PM. The boats running good and its nice to be back in the salt.
