Well I didn't exactly catch my 20# birthday present, I didn't even catch a striper at all. I did catch a couple seabass and some spotted hake. All those fish I caught within the last 2 weeks I thought were ling were actually spotted hake. Took me a while to finally find an accurate fish id. Not a bad day, but it wasn't great. Oh and this is day number 13 by the way.

Even tho no stripes you have a great outing...Love this streak you have going....Water temp still is a bit warm in shb    but any day now.....

Yeah I just couldn't find the difference between a spotted hake and a ling online to confirm it. You were right.

i was fishing the the other side of the kill and its bin the same ol thing small fish and lots of them i was on of the few out in that wet weather but i could not sit in the house chunks and worms and the big rod was still all nite the little fish kept me busy but come on now i need some size  thud no more small stuff rgmn
