MISS BEACHHAVEN FISHING REPORT
« on: October 03, 2007, 08:41:58 PM »
On Columbus Day we will be running a 10 hr wreck trip sailing out to 30 mi. Resverations are a must departure time will be 6am and we will return at 4pm. Cost per person is $70. This ought to be a great trip so book now! 609-978-9951.

Sun Sept 30 We stopped inshore on our first stop and a lot of the guys had some crabs with them to try to catch a tog. Well, they certainly were chewing their heads off as soon as the baits hit the bottom guys were hooking up. A lot of the guys caught their one fish limit and played catch and release. From there we moved offshore to try and catch some seabass and porgies. There was definitely no problem catching, it was the keeping that was tough! But then the bluefish came on hot and heavy. The fish ranged from little snappers up to two pounders, Jay who put on a jig just cranked them in as fast as he could get them off the hook. All in all it was a great day for fishing we had some nice size seabass and some plate sized porgies all the blues that you could want and of course the many nice sized tog which by the way once again bring the now famous "Cheeseman John" the pool with one of about 6lbs.

 t^Fish on!
A good day of fishing is better than a bad day of fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. That means work sucks!
