The original plan for yesterday was to hit the Manasquan Ridge to see if we could find some mahi or bonito. Hit the inlet to some sporty conditions. We still made the trek to the ridge figuring we could always try for deep water fluke. We got out there and conditions were about 3'-4' and windy. We opted not to troll in the slop and just went looking for fluke. We spent the first half of the day jumping from place to place picking through double digit short fluke and trash fish.
On the way in we stopped at the SE corner of the ACR. We only managed two keepers, one at 18.5" and 22". For the conditions of the day it wasn't bad.
