First try at trolling.
« on: September 15, 2013, 06:13:42 PM »
Headed out about 6am to the mud hole. Lets just say it was a little more sporty then forecasted. Trolled around for about 3-4 hours and got nothing. Decided we were tired of getting beat so headed back inshore to the sea girt reef. Got all the skates you could want and a lingcod.  Decided to head over to the manasquan ridge and try some more trolling. Can't hurt to practice. Finally some action. We ended up landing 3 false albacore and 11 bonito.

We had a great time out on the water today plus the fact my cuz made the trip out from PA for his first ever saltwater fishing experience.
