Thanks All,

With the amount of people there it will be a trying day to say the least.  The nice thing it is over at 1:00 so it is a short day.

Good Luck to you also SPEEDRUG.  If you need anymore help just ask and I will try to help out. 

Have you decided if you will be driving on the beach or not?

Who else is going?  I thought there was at least one more.

I will be driving onto the beach...I have to get there early to register with 3 of my buddies..You wanna meet up that day on fish in the same areas

Speedrug, Ped597, my plan has me starting up at Gilkins, moving south as necessary. Pre registered as to be out there before sunrise.( official fishing starts at 6:30am) Loud Black Chevy with "politically incorrect" flag,NJSALTWATER.COM hat. If I don't see you guys,look for me at the awards ceremony, I'll be the one holding the Governor's Cup! ;D <'((((><

Hi guys,

Well I never made it to the tourney. :'(

My daughters competition took longer than expected and we did not get to the school till abt. 2:00 this morning.  We had to unload the truck a 40' b ox loaded to the gills with instruments.

I did not get in till almost 3 this morning.  I can't wait till this is all over and I can finally do what I want to de and when.  But I totally support my daughter and what she is involved with 200%.

SOOOOO, looks like I might go out tonight for the night run.

I hope you guys did OK.  Can't wait to see the pictures of that trophy in your hands...

Paul, you did'nt miss much today. Fishing was slow all over the park. Winner was a 20lb Bass. (not mine) I caught only sea robins, skates, dogs, 1 kingfish. Started at gilkins and moved south. I only saw a few small blues and a few kings caught all day myself. I could not find the fish! :'( <'((((><

Paul, even if the fishing was tremendous, you did the right thing.  Family first and fore most.  Let's never forget our priorities.   t^

Hi Guys,

It sounds like the day wasn't a total loss at least there were fish being caught.  There is always next year. 

BTW how crowded was it this year.  It sounds like there was wiggle room to move around thats good.

Elbow to elbow at gilkins and the bathing beach. More room south of that execpt by the judges shack /A15 area. A7 & the pocket were crowed too. Same story all over the beach,not much of a bite.  P.S. I would have done the same thing for my daughter! t^ <'((((><

Yeah, she is Guard Captain and my wife and I are heavely involved in the band parent org.  I am one of the Directors plus Webmaster for the bands site. http://www.marchingraiders.org

All the video and pictures are done by my wife and I. 

We love it and will probably miss it next year. 

Buy hey I will have more time to finally do what I want to do.
