Tackle Direct
« on: October 04, 2013, 12:07:26 PM »
After my not so good shopping experience the other week at Cabela's I had the opportunity to stop by Tackle Direct yesterday before heading to change out the starter on my boat.

I had never been to the store. I thought it was pretty well laid out and had very good amount of supplies, particularly offhore stuff. I was in the mood to by some new rods/reels that could be multipurposed (bottom, trolling, etc). I picked up 4 Penn Squall 40 lever drags and 4 6'6" Tsunami rods. They took $50 off the overall cost and threw in free line winding since I bought combo's.

Overall I was very happy. Now it's time to get some hogs on the end of them.

Fred, fishing the "Kristy Marie" from Manasquan River Club. Channels 16/67/68.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
