11/22 Offshore sea bass

Was on the 11/22 offshore sea bass trip on the Voyager. Porgies out numbered the sea bass by a mile, but it was steady action all day long. There were enough sea bass and medium sized blues in the mix to keep things interesting. Didn't see any shorts, and many were HUGE. My biggest was just over 20" and wasn't even close for the pool.

Get out there while you can!

OFFSHORE SEA BASS & PORGIES

"As I had predicted last report, the SEA BASS fishing improved quite a bit from last weekend.  While not slaughter fishing yet many people I spoke with said they had 8-15 JUMBO SEA BASS.  Like last week, we had drop and reel fishing on GIANT PORGIES with everyone easily catching their limit.  We also had a few COD and POLLOCK in the mix.   Within the week or two I expect fishing to break wide open."
