Pops Soul Smorgasbord of action

Cath and I headed north out of SR inlet into a North wind chop making our way up to the red church rock pile. finding a piece to anchor on we found action with small C Bass and porgies. Later in the afternoon after doing a few wiggles on the anchor line things seemed to slow down along with the ocean calming down. We pulled the hook and went to see what other life we could find. just inside the 3 mile line outside SR inlet I had the sonar light up. Before I get my line in the water Cath has a Spike weakfish coming over the side. So many weakfish we were catching double headers. Also had Croakers mixed. Both species gorging their selves on sandeels. I searched for bigger marks but only found more spikes and croakers. We kept our limit of weakies  ;D and had fun playing catch and release.  chrz
