This is yesterdays report from a NS PB from Belmar.
"This morning, we headed 49 miles way up to the North East, staying within the 3 mile limit, to get to the fish. There was plenty of bird life and readings along with really good drifts where we picked away, and at times we had good shots. We were completely destroying the fish up North ending the day with over 80 keeper stripers that were up to 24 lbs with big blues mixed in ranging from 8-15 lbs. "
I saw another report where they mentioned Jones Inlet in Long Island. That is a long run, but it is where the big body of stripers are currently at. Hopefully they soon make a move towards NJ.
I liked where he mentioned that they stayed within the 3 mile limit.
