Headed out Open Boat in a stiff East wind in the dark. Rounded the hook and didnt see much bird life so we steamed south to the Blackfish Grounds.
First 2 drops didnt yield much lifeand the current was running very strong so we waited a little longer for the life to build and it did eventually.
Everyone started catching for a solid 2 hours. The guys ended up boxing 24 keepers with the largest going 6 lbs with alot of shorts in the mix.
