Changes to your kayak (Upgrades)
« on: March 24, 2014, 09:30:18 AM »
To start the 2014 year off, i have added a scotty extender to my mount so it is higher off the deck.
I have taken some glue sticky pads and glued them to the inside of the hull to get the wires off the bottom so if water does get in wires are dry.
Put a quick wire harness on the battery so i can disconnect the battery easier. put a new anchor trolly on big improvement on how old one was. put a netting on the back of my seat so i could put two small plano boxes (gear) this way it is not taking up reality space on the yak. keep it light, you have to paddle it. slt
I'M working on fishing.

Nice Job Dale.  I have not uncovered the kayaks yet.  But I'm guessing soon I will have to get them both ready for the summer.  Are you and your brother going to Paddle Sport this weekend.  I am going to have to pass on this year as I have tons of stuff going on this weekend, picture taking wise.

Happy Catching

Paul

Paul i have to stay away from Paddle sport. my wife will kill me if i spend anymore of HER MONEY fngr.
I want to look this year for another yak, so if any one of my 4 boys want to go with me they can, i am going to stop working on my yak till i get in the water with it to see if i have to amke any other chnages. have it up on horses and i sat in it to see if the new gear and locations work out.
till then NO MORE UPRADE'S. i said that for my wife.

Dale

Going to the banquet is a good thing.  I kind of talked to my wife and wrangled us going as we will be going to Hawaii in May as well.  How that happened I don't know, but again it is a good thing.
