Pilot - Skunk & Tbone bass 5/11
« on: May 12, 2014, 09:08:23 PM »
Took the early train and got bait but today it took a bit to round em up.  Loaded the tank with what we need and headed to a spot that has had less pressure.  After setting the spike someone opened the sewer pipe and a truckload of debris came roaring through.  Pulled the lines and shifted a good 3/4 mile.  Life is good again.   Started the process with a slick and a couple live ones getting harassed.  First two fish came on a head and chunk.

Tbone and I had our limit early and stuck with the game plan.  T was on fire today.  Skunk hung tight knowing he was due.   Managed to get our limit then released.   Headed back at 10:45, cleanup and back home with the ladies for a great Mother's day afternoon BBQ.

Excellent day with top notch guys!   t^

Nice report Jeff,  you guys did well.  When I see "Skunk" in the title it throws me off a bit. t^

Nice trip guys  t^  I saw you making the right in the morning and figure you were going to get bait.  Was that you in Rutger's hat that I was talking to on the dock as I was passing the marina?
