Memorial Day Striper fishing
« on: May 26, 2014, 04:39:09 PM »
Learned about some spots on an open boat charter out of Belmar and decided to wind down the weekend on Striper Charter. Broke the inlet early AM and found bunker right away. Loaded up and started fishing. Missed my first fish. Redeemed myself with this 30+ lber only to miss another. Searched for more and the boat landed another 38+ lber. Several run offs at the end of the day but no commitment from the fish. Took home some nice fillets for the table and had a great day back out on the water.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
