somers point flukin 6/1
« on: June 02, 2014, 12:57:47 PM »
went flukin around somers point saturday and had 2 keepers and 7 or 8 shorts, biggest was about 3 lbs, then we had boat issues and had to leave early, we havent been catching a lot of shorts but the keeper ratio has been pretty good in the back bays this year so far

Seems to be that the fluke bite has been in the skinny water .

Got pretty much every fluke so far this year in 6 - 15 feet of water with the best fishing being in around 10 - 12 feet along sand bars and drop offs
