Roosters Flukin 7-1-14
« on: July 01, 2014, 07:15:09 PM »
A weather report the night before said SW wind 20-30, this news would keep us close to home port today.Fished the Shrewsbury Channel with plenty of short Fluke showing with very little seaweed. Out to Officers Row where last week produced some big Fluke, today just shorts, some fish only 9” long. Killies where the hot bait today as I went through three dozen that Tom trapped in his secret location near our slip.I did manage one keeper Fluke @18+” at the #1 Can. Back in at noon as the wind picked up.There were no Bluefish around but plenty of Smooth Doggies. Pete
