Sun 7/6
« on: July 06, 2014, 12:40:29 PM »
Launched before sun-up and worked the mouth of the Shrewsbury, down to the bridge and into the Navi.  Sucked. Bounced 1 oz BT's and my son dragged bait.  A few postage stamps and more salad than I care to pull off the hooks!!!

Switched gears and hit our honey hole in the Navesink to crab.  Managed 10 keepers on some nasty year old frozen bunker. No huge crab but decent 5-6" keepers.  No females at all...? weird?

Back home by noon with enough crab to roll into last weeks fluke fillets. Hope to be back at it Friday.  Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend all!

Always nice to get out on the water. I'll take crabs as a back up plan, enjoy.
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
